AS53727 (Penguin Networks) is a research and educational network that provides Internet connectivity and various Internet services to our members. Membership is by invitation only.
AS53727 has an open peering policy, subject to the following conditions:
Peering is done at-will, and either side may cease peering at any time for any reason, with or without notice.
This policy may change at any time.
AS53727 will only peer with route servers at internet exchanges.
We reject routes with prefixes that are reserved by the IETF, or assigned for a purpose other than globally routable unicast traffic.
We reject routes with ASNs in the path that are reserved by the IETF or IANA.
Peers MUST NOT send traffic to us that is not destined to a route we are announcing.
We announce routes regionally, so not all of our routes will be announced at any particular peering location.
RPKI-ROV invalid routes are dropped.
IPv4 routes with a prefix length smaller than /8 or larger than /24 are dropped.
IPv6 routes with a prefix length smaller than /16 or larger than /48 are dropped.
We enforce BCP38 on all peering sessions.
We require a complete and up to date PeeringDB entry.
